Well, no. Not really. But then, what did I expect? Certainly not a cool thing every day. Here I go, starting up the blog again, saying “no promises, no pressure, I’ll just post whenever, or whatever.” Hey, past me, after saying that, does it really seem wise to promise a cool thing every day. No pressure, my butt.

I clearly haven’t mastered the trick of self-imposed deadlines with no consequences yet. But I shall, eventually. Just gotta keep trying. That’s probably the thing that does it – the lack of any consequence if (when) I fail to meet a deadline. But how to create a consequence that future me will not just ignore?

That’s the thing, really. How can present me ensure that future me turns out to be the future me that present me wants to become?

I’ll need think about it.

For now, I’m starting a new project. The working title is “Publish-a-cool-thing-every-once-in-a-while-when-I-feel-like-it”. I think it will be a success.
