So I drew this. It came out all right, I think. The brush I used doesn’t look that great zoomed in (header image), but it was nice painting with, and that’s what matters, really. Took about an hour in Photoshop. Man, I really should draw and paint more. It’s so much fun, and I really want to get better at it. Sucks that procrastinating is so easy.

I did some more writing on that project today, but it’s still not at the point where I feel good putting it out there. I want to at least round off the first part of the thing. Then it’ll go online. It won’t be finished, but it’ll get there eventually. That said, I didn’t want to just tell you that and then give you nothing, so please enjoy this digital painting of a bear that I made a while ago. Must be about a year or more old , but I never did get around to posting it. I used a [...]

As promised, here are most of the ideas I went through before finally settling on what you now have before you. Did I pick the right one? Maybe. I’m not sure. There are some that I really like here, and some that are, well, pretty bad actually. So I don’t know. You be the judge. This one has something to it in that it looks fairly pretty and that it allows the content to take center stage, which, really, is what I wanted from the theme. Tell me what you think. By the way, the order here is completely random [...]

Oh my. Two posts in one day? Strangely, not much to say about this one. Illustrator for the poop; the rest is Photoshop. Enjoy. Click here to become mindboggled.

When I finished my last notebook, I decided that instead of buying a new one, I would go back and start using one of the countless multitudes of unused (or nearly unused) notebooks I already have. After rummaging about in the old notebook vault for a bit, I settled on one that I had started using some six or seven years ago. There, between some minor sporadic journal entries, and some never-played RPG adventures, I found this little text. What the hell, I thought upon reading it. This isn’t half bad. And so I decided to toss it up here. [...]

Backlog post #2. I made this thing in October last year, and have only showed it to a few friends. Not that those very friends aren’t the only people who read this thing, but anyway. The world will come later. Some background, then. I play Guild Wars occasionally, and in the game, I am the leader of a guild called Ensis Equitas. This is me reimagining the same guild set in a dystopian future, where order is maintained by guilds of mercenaries selling their services to the highest bidder, or just pursuing their own arbitrary code of justice. The Sword [...]

Just nonsense, really. I’ve been wanting to learn to use Illustrator for a while now, and the text in the center of this picture is the first step towards that goal. The shape of the word came to me on the train home a few days ago, and I couldn’t let it go. As for the word itself, it’s just plain cool. I’m actually thinking of using this image as the title screen for an upcoming project (if I finish it…), but we’ll just have to see about that. Word design done in Illustrator CS, everything else in Photoshop CS3. [...]

Backlog post #1. Some of you already saw this, but bear with me. A while ago, I came across this site (beware; in Swedish), and decided to give it a shot. I got an idea, and wrote it all down on the bus home from work. Unfortunately what I’d come up with exceeded the maximum word count by almost 200 words, even after some editing after I typed it all up, and I liked it a little too much to just cut it all away. I tried, though, I admit, but I couldn’t get the feeling I was after in [...]
