As promised, here are most of the ideas I went through before finally settling on what you now have before you. Did I pick the right one? Maybe. I’m not sure. I need to get back on track with my writing. I need to stop planning and plotting and get to actually writing. It always goes the same way: I come up with a beginning for a story. Something that sounds cool. Just a scene that popped into my mind, or a sketch of a character or a neat setting.
